Payal Talwar writes about DWP in the Sunday edition of the Times of India in April 2011.

DWP’s garden and slum cleanup project in Saki Naka generated press in the Indian media from several Indian papers. India’s biggest paper The Times of India which is delivered to over 3 million homes featured an article about Kane and DWP’s involvement in Saki Naka.

Slum communities are thought to be dirty, crime ridden places with little hope and its projects like this that show that these communities can be beautiful.
